Alley by Side of House:
This is a picture of the radical alley that runs along
one side of the house. The garages are situated on this alley instead of
on the road. |
 |
|
Garage:
The garage has three stalls, a loft, and plenty of extra
space for storing stuff. Once settled in I will be sure to buy a lot of
stuff to store there. |
 |
|
Inside Garage:
This shot is proof that the garage can store a lot of
stuff. I don't plan to have near this much stuff. I was thinking more along
the lines of a weedwhacker and maybe a bent shovel. |

Basement Floorplan:
This is the basement floorplan as best as I can remember
it. I have camera icons showing where the pictures were taken. The cameras
link to the images below. |

Basement:
This shot is from the base of the stairs. This is the
main area of the basement which includes washer, dryer, freezer, small workbench,
heater, and water heater. |
 |
|
Basement Bathroom:
This is the bathroom located in the basement. It was
built fairly recently. It also has a shower stall to the left of the doorway. |
 |
|
Basement Finished Living Area:
About half of the basement is finished off. It wraps
around to the right at the rear of this picture. It doesn't count as a bedroom
b/c in the event of a fire all people larger than a window who do not know
how to operate "stairs" would be killed off. |

it. I have camera icons showing where the pictures were taken. The cameras

Kitchen:
This is the kitchen. It was redone recently and is one
of the nicest areas of the house. It even has a purified water tap and a
built-in soap dispenser. |

Upper Level Floorplan:
This is the upper level floorplan as best as I can remember
it. I have camera icons showing where the pictures were taken. The cameras

 |
|
Upstairs Room #1: 9'6" x 12"
This room will probably be my office soon. |
 |
|
Upstairs Room #2: 13" x 10'6"
This is the largest of the upstairs rooms. It will be
the master bedroom. |
 |
|
Upstairs Room #3: 13' x 9'6"
This room needs to be painted in a BIG way. Once that
is done it will be the spare bedroom. |
 |
|
Upstairs Bathroom: 6'6" x 7'6"
The upstairs bathroom is pretty dated and does not allow
much room for cabinetry. We have some good ides for how to fix it up a little
bit. |
 |
|
Upstairs Bathroom Part II:
The upstairs bathroom has one of those old fashioned
tubs in it. We plan to update that to a newer bathtub and shower setup.
We also plan to figure something out with that weird shaped vanity. This
is the only major project that we are planning for the place (besides central
air someday hopefully) Aside from this it is mostly some paint here and
there. |

Map, Street Level:
This map shows things zoomed in to the street level.
The house is just a few houses in from Monroe on the north side of Burr Oak.
|
 |
|
Map, City Level:
This map shows the location in reference to the entire Grand Rapids area.
The easiest way to get to the house is probably 131 to the Ann St. exit.
The local map will show you what to expect from that point.
